Our Terms Of Service

All enquires and bookings with Lola's house are subject to our Terms of Service. Submission of the Client Details form is acceptance of these terms. Your continuted use of the services confirms your acceptance with the terms each time you make a booking with Lola's house.


The Terms of Service set out an agreement between ‘you’ the owner and 'us' Lola's House.


Your Booking:

  1. Bookings are not confirmed until you recieve a booking confirmation via Whatsapp or email.
  2. We may ask to take a non-refundable 50% deposit for a booking if it is during a busy period or over 2 nights.
  3. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of the start date you must pay the remaining 50% balance.
  4. Bookings made on bank holidays are charged at x1.5 the normal rate and bookings made on 25th December, 31st December and 1st January are charged at x2 the normal rate.
  5. Payment is due two business days after the end date of the booking at the latest, however different payment options are available.
  6. We accept debit card, cash or direct transfer via invoice.
  7. You agree to complete our Client Details page.
  8. Each booking is subject to a meet and greet consultation. We must be mutually satisfied with the consultation before a booking is confirmed.
  9. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, worming, tick and flea treatments. You must provide us with the vaccination book at the start of each board.
  10. There is no minimum or maximum booking duration.
  11. Our rates are stated on our website.
  12. In the event of any emergency if we are unable to proceed with the booking we will contact your emergancy contact and make sure your dog is considered in every decision. We reserve the right at our discretion to cancel the booking and refund your deposit without any liability to Lola's House.


 Your Dog Details

  1. You agree to provide a detailed and honest description in the Booking Form about your dog/s and agree to our terms of service. During your continued use of our services you agree to keep us informed of any changes to your dog/s booking Form. Failure on your part to disclose any matter whether material fact or not, which in our view might render your dog unsuitable for boarding with Lola's House.
  2. We are unable to accept dogs with aggression problems towards other dogs or people and subject to the terms of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
  3. We are happy to accept bookings for un-spayed bitches, however if you believe your dog is due in season during her booking we have the right to cancel the booking and refund any deposit.
  4. We do not accept bookings for un-neutered dogs over the age of 12 months.
  5. You confirm your dog is non-aggressive. Should they show aggressive tendencies towards other dogs or people during their booking and can not be collected by your emergency contact(s), you accept that he/she will be placed in a dog boarding kennel until your return and that this will be subject to a transfer charge of £20.00 which will be payable by yourself upon your return. There will be no refund of the boarding fees you have paid to Lola's House and any additional fees charged by the kennels will be payable by you.
  6. You have disclosed any known dangers associated with your dog.
  7. You confirm that you agree should your dog’s behaviour become uncontrollable, destructive or unreasonable and can not be collected by your emergency contact(s), you accept that he/she will be placed in a dog boarding kennel until your return and that this will be subject to a transfer charge of £20.00 which will be payable by yourself upon your return. There will be no refund of the boarding fees you have paid to Lola's House and any additional fees charged by the kennels will be payable by you.  In addition, you agree to pay the cost of any damage caused by your dog to the home.
  8. If you agree to your dog being exercised off lead, please note the client details form accordingly.  In doing so you accept responsibility for third party liability.
  9. Your dog is expected to be under control at all times, trained and not over boisterous in the home.
  10. You confirm that you are the legal owner of your dog.
  11. You confirm that your dog has not been ill with any contagious disease or condition within the past 30 days and that your dog has received all the necessary vaccinations.
  12. You understand that under no circumstances will Lola's House be liable for consequential damages or damages beyond the replacement value of your dog.


Veterinary Details

  1. Lola's House will use all care and experience to ensure the safety and happiness of your dog/s. If however your dog becomes unwell or has an accident during their booking we will take him to a Veterinary Surgery. You agree for Lola's House and advice from a qualified veterinary surgeon to make any decisions regarding your dog’s health/welfare, providing it is acting in the best interest of your dog. An emergency contact number for you or someone to make these decisions on your behalf will be required. 
  2. We will make every effort to take your dog to their usual veterinary practice, however in an emergency you consent to us taking your dog/s to our nearest veterinary practice.
  3. You agree to be responsible for payment of veterinary fees incurred upon your return. 
  4. You agree that if your dog attacks, or is involved in a fight with, another dog (and/or person) causing injury to that dog (and /or person), you will be responsible for any losses incurred as a result including, but not limited to, payment of veterinary fees in respect of injuries to another animal caused by your dog. 
  5. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred whilst the pets are in the care of Lola's House.


Damage to the Carer’s own property

  1. Your dog must not be known to chew, scratch or destroy furniture or house fittings under normal circumstances. Should your dog’s behaviour become uncontrollable, destructive or unreasonable and can not be collected by your emergency contact, you accept that he/she could be placed in a dog boarding kennel at your own expense until your return and will be subject to a £20.00 transfer charge.
  2. Any damages caused by your dog to our home or possessions other than reasonable wear and tear will be paid for by you.


Your Dog’s Booking

  1. You agree to deliver your dog in a clean, groomed condition. Any dog requiring regular grooming should also be provided with appropriate grooming equipment.
  2. You agree to provide us with enough food for the entire duration of your dog’s stay, any treats allowed, your dog’s own bedding, any medication required, toys, lead and any other material requirements your dog requires or items which will help your dog to settle. If insufficient food is supplied at the start of the board you agree to refund us costs incurred purchasing more food.
  3. You agree that that after 2 weeks following your stated return date you have not returned to collect your dog(s) and every attempt has been made to contact you and your emergency contact number without success then your dog(s) will be put up for re-homing.
  4. Lola's House reserves the right at all times to refuse access to clients of our booking service if it is in the interest of Lola's House without liability, without cause, with or without prior notice.
  5. You agree that your dog will socialise with other dogs and you accept the risks involved and agree that Lola's House are not liable for any illnesses or injuries resulting during your dog’s stay.


Insurance

  1. Lola's House is covered by business public liability insurance. Insurance does not cover any costs that may be incurred, either veterinary or other as a result of sickness, accident or damage caused to or by any guest dog.
  2. It is recommended but not essential that client’s take out their own veterinary insurance.
